A pay stub is a slip or document that your employer gives you when you receive your pay. It can be printed with your paycheque or sent by email in the case of direct deposit.
A bank statement is a document showing all transactions made from your bank account in the last 30 days. Most of the time, this document is available online. If you submit a standard application, you must provide the latest statement from the account where your pay is deposited.
